aquarium repair...?...please answer!?
ummm...i know it sounds sorta awkward that im asking about this in the rodents section...but does anyone know a good aquarium repair business in los angeles, california? its because im planning on getting a rat and have an aquarium for an aquarium topper cage for the ratties but ive been saving the aquarium in my living room...and then something fell and it cracked...on one side...i really prefer to get it fixed instead of buying a whole new cage because everything is SO expensive...so...either a pet store that sells really cheap $30-$50 cages or an aquarium repair place...and remember...it has to be in LA. please answer!!!

Why don't you fix it yourself instead of getting it repaired? I think you can just tape the crack from the outside only. Unless you get a rodent expert to answer, stay away from chemical seals as they may poison the rats. As long as it is only a crack and no slivers are missing, taping from the outside should work fine, as long as you don't cage for its appearence.
Also, you used the word rat in both plural and singular tense, but please do not get a single rat. They are incredibly social and will live shorter, more miserable lives alone. Get at least one other, same sexed rat for it. Good luck
